About Beautiful Savior Lutheran Preschool
What Are We All About?
Beautiful Savior Lutheran Preschool offers a character based program centered upon the developmental needs of three, four, and five-year-olds. Learning experiences, as well as the learning environment are structured to lead a child to develop respect, responsibility, honesty, fairness, tolerance, self-discipline, compassion, cooperation, and courage as they continue to grow in their relationship with God through faith in Jesus.
Lesson plans are based on Christian themes and values that provide preschoolers with opportunities to develop these values in action, while helping to develop understanding in the areas of both academics and the Christian faith.
Through child-centered activities such as block building, water play, sand play, and dramatic play, children gain experience working both individually and in small groups while developing their sense of curiosity, self-direction, and self-esteem. Cooking experiences acquaint children with healthy, nutritional recipes and snacks, and offer opportunities for sharing and taking turns.
Our well-equipped outdoor playground offers preschoolers activities designed to develop large motor skills, while various inside activities are designed to develop balance, coordinated body movements and eye-hand movements. Small motor skills are continually developed by the use of puzzles, manipulative games, as well as writing, drawing, painting, and cutting.
Story Time, Music and Movement provide opportunities for children to learn how to be part of a group, follow directions, and develop listening skills. God’s House allows time for the children to visit with our pastors and see Christ working in their daily lives.
Our talented and dedicated staff is committed to providing each child with a quality education enriched by spiritual growth and development. Limited class size offers an excellent adult-child ratio.
The safety of your child is important to us and all preschool staff have passed Washington State Patrol background checks. Doors are monitored, and parents or guardians must sign in and out in order to pick up students.
